This section does not mirror Italy's warning feed. We have not yet checked the issuer's reuse terms, so we show an editorial summary and link to the official warnings instead. That is our choice, not a statement about the issuer's licence. See methodology.

Warning levels in Italy

The issuer's own labels, with its description summarised in English. No fixed mapping. A national colour or rating does not imply a CAP severity. Each warning carries the CAP value its issuer assigned, and this section copies that value per warning instead of inferring it from the colour.

LevelWhat it meansWhat to do
Allerta giallaOrdinary criticality in the Civil Protection meteo-hydrological system.Read the regional/local bulletin and hazard-specific advice.
Allerta arancioneModerate criticality in the Civil Protection meteo-hydrological system.Read the regional/local bulletin and follow local protective measures.
Allerta rossaHigh criticality in the Civil Protection meteo-hydrological system.Follow local authorities and hazard-specific protective instructions.

Only the levels whose guidance this section has checked against the issuer's own page are listed. The issuer's scale may have others, and its page is the complete reference.
